Hoag Communications was established by Becky Hoag in 1999 to
provide a variety of public relations and communication services
to individuals, small businesses, and organizations. Becky holds a degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and has over thirty-five years of experience in public relations, special event planning, writing, and desktop publishing. She has worked in higher education in the alumni/development office at North Central College; in the healthcare communications at Provena Mercy Center and Visiting Nurse Association of Fox Valley; in magazine writing and editing for the former Fox Valley Living Magazine; and for environmental groups, including the Fox River Ecosystem Partnership. Becky was co-founder of Batavia Renaissance Project, and has been actively involved in promoting the cultural arts in the Fox River communities of Batavia, Geneva and St. Charles, Illinois. She helped establish Batavia's fine art festival, Art In Your Eye, and served as festival coordinator for the first five years. |
